Psychotherapy

Sometimes, what you need most is a safe, supportive space to explore patterns, process stress, and feel understood. My approach blends evidence-based methods—including EMDR, somatic approaches, and Internal Family Systems—with a relational, trauma-sensitive lens, helping you work with both mind and body to move past what's holding you back.

Psychotherapy provides a holistic space to navigate life transitions, relationships, identity, grief, or ongoing stress. Together, we'll strengthen resilience, self-compassion, and insight so you can move forward with greater ease.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy designed to help your brain naturally process experiences that have become "stuck." When we go through trauma, chronic stress, or overwhelming life events, our brains don't always have the opportunity to fully process what happened. As a result, those experiences can continue to show up as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, negative beliefs about yourself, physical tension, or feeling like you're constantly living in survival mode.

Rather than simply talking about the past, EMDR helps your brain and nervous system reprocess difficult memories so they no longer carry the same emotional intensity. Using bilateral stimulation—such as eye movements or tapping—we'll work through experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable. You remain awake, aware, and in control throughout the process, and there's no need to share every detail of what you've been through if you don't want to.

EMDR is an effective treatment for trauma, but it can also help with anxiety, panic, perfectionism, grief, stressful life experiences, and negative self-beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. My goal is to help you move beyond simply managing symptoms so you can experience greater freedom, resilience, and confidence in your everyday life.

Healing Through the Mind-Body Connection

Our experiences don't just live in our memories—they're also held in our bodies, our nervous systems, and the ways we relate to ourselves and others. That's why therapy isn't just about talking through problems. Together, we'll gently notice what your body is communicating, explore the patterns that have helped you survive, and create space for new ways of responding with greater calm, flexibility, and self-compassion.

I often integrate somatic (body-based) interventions, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-focused therapy into our work. These approaches help us understand the different parts of you that have developed to protect you, strengthen your connection to yourself and your relationships, and support healing at a deeper level. My goal is to help you feel more grounded in your body, more connected to who you are, and more able to respond to life from a place of choice rather than survival.
