Grow Into the Therapist You Want to Become
C3+ Supervision Academy offers relationship-centered clinical supervision and professional development for emerging therapists who want more than completed hours.
Through individual supervision, the C3+ Group Supervision Lab, and immersive supervision retreats, you will have space to slow down, think clinically, bring the hard cases, ask honest questions, and develop the confidence to make thoughtful decisions in complex situations.
Because you do not become a confident therapist simply by accumulating clinical hours. You become one by learning how to think, reflect, conceptualize, question, connect, and remain grounded in the work.
That is what supervision is for

More Than Hours—We Build Clinicians
Early in your career, it is common to wonder:

-
Am I doing this right?
-
What am I missing in this case?
-
How do I know whether my diagnosis and treatment plan make sense?
-
How do I work with trauma without moving too quickly or becoming overwhelmed myself?
-
How do I use evidence-based approaches while still sounding and feeling like me?
-
How do I set boundaries, document clearly, manage risk, and make ethical decisions?
-
How do I become the kind of therapist I hoped I would be?
You should not have to hold those questions alone.
C3+ is designed to help emerging therapists become confident, competent, relational, and trauma-informed clinicians. Supervision includes attention to the client and the case, but it also makes room for the person of the therapist—your nervous system, values, identities, strengths, uncertainty, boundaries, and growing professional voice.
The goal is not perfection. The goal is thoughtful, ethical, connected practice.

C3+ Individual Supervision
Supervision Built Around You
Individual supervision gives us room to focus closely on your current clinical work, licensure requirements, learning style, professional goals, and emerging identity as a therapist.
Sessions are collaborative and tailored to what you need most. You can bring difficult cases, diagnostic uncertainty, ethical questions, documentation concerns, relationship dynamics, professional decisions, or the moments that leave you thinking about a session long after it ends.
Individual supervision may include:
-
Case consultation and clinical conceptualization
-
Diagnosis, assessment, and treatment planning
-
Trauma-informed case pacing and stabilization
-
Risk assessment, ethics, boundaries, and documentation
-
Understanding transference, countertransference, and parallel process
-
Self-of-the-therapist reflection
-
Nervous system awareness and sustainable clinical practice
-
Integration of EMDR, IFS and parts work, somatic approaches, DBT, CBT, and relational methods
-
Licensure planning and supervision-hour tracking
-
Career development, private-practice questions, and professional identity
This is a place to say, “I do not know,” examine what is happening without shame, and build the judgment to decide what comes next.
Individual supervision may be available online or in person, depending on location and scheduling.

C3+ Group Supervision Lab
Think Deeply. Learn Together. Grow With Support.
The Group Supervision Lab is for clinicians who want high-quality supervision and a consistent professional community.
Group supervision brings something individual supervision cannot always provide: the opportunity to learn from multiple cases, hear different perspectives, practice giving and receiving feedback, and realize that many of the questions you carry are shared by other thoughtful therapists.
This is not a passive webinar or a quick round of surface-level updates. It is an active learning space where you can bring real clinical questions, participate in meaningful consultation, and strengthen your ability to think systemically and make intentional clinical decisions.
First Friday of each month 9:00 AM–1:00 PM Central Live online

A Typical Group May Include

Clinical Identity and Professional Development

The Group Supervision Lab can be used as a primary source of group supervision or alongside individual supervision, depending on your licensure pathway and applicable board rules.

C3 Supervision Aacademy

C3+ Supervision Retreats
Most clinicians rarely have enough time to step out of the pace of everyday practice and think deeply about their work. Supervision retreats create that space.
C3+ retreats combine concentrated supervision, clinical education, case consultation, self-of-the-therapist reflection, professional connection, and renewal. You will have time to examine difficult cases, strengthen clinical skills, reconnect with your purpose, and learn alongside other therapists who care deeply about the work.
Retreats may be offered in two formats:
Saturday Supervision Intensive
8:30 AM–5:00 PM
A full day of structured supervision and professional development with the potential to earn approximately 7–8 group-supervision hours, depending on the final agenda and your licensure requirements.
Weekend Supervision Retreat
Friday evening through Sunday
An extended experience offering deeper learning, community, restoration, and the potential to earn up to 15 supervision hours, depending on the final agenda and your licensure pathway.

Retreat Topics May Include
-
Complex case conceptualization

Who Is C3+ For?
C3+ may be a strong fit if you are:
-
A graduate-level therapy intern looking for meaningful clinical development
-
A prelicensed therapist working toward independent licensure
-
An early-career therapist who wants continued consultation and community
-
A clinician seeking a more relational, trauma-informed supervision experience
-
A therapist who wants help with diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, or difficult cases
-
A helping professional who wants to strengthen both clinical competence and professional identity
-
A clinic seeking contract supervision for unlicensed clinicians
C3+ is designed to support emerging Minnesota clinicians, including MFT, LPC, and LPCC pathways when Danielle’s supervisor designation and the supervisee’s specific board requirements align.
Licensing boards determine what qualifies as supervision and how individual, group, virtual, and retreat hours may be counted. Before beginning, we will discuss your pathway and ask you to verify your current board requirements. Each supervisee remains responsible for confirming eligibility and maintaining accurate records.

The C3+ Approach
Courage
Supervision should be a place where you can bring uncertainty, mistakes, difficult reactions, and the questions you are afraid you should already know how to answer. Courage grows when honesty is met with curiosity rather than shame.
Add paragraph text. Click “Edit Text” to update the font, size and more. To change and reuse text themes, go to Site Styles.
Connection
Therapists develop through relationships. C3+ emphasizes connection with clients, supervisors, peers, professional communities, and your own internal experience. You do not have to become a clinician in isolation.
Supervision should help you leave with more than an answer to one case. It should strengthen how you assess, conceptualize, make decisions, communicate, and practice across many cases throughout your career.
Clinical Growth
Creativity
Strong clinical work requires more than following a script. We will explore evidence-based approaches while helping you develop flexible thinking, clinical intuition, and interventions that fit the actual client in front of you.
